Natalie graduated from Massey university in 2002. After completing a small animal internship at Massey University and working in private practice in New Zealand and Australia, she completed her residency in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging at the Animal Health Trust, UK. In 2009 she became a specialist in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging.

Natalie lives in Melbourne enjoying the food and the sunshine. Natalie started Darkroom Veterinary Imaging in 2011 with the aim of providing a personalised teleradiology service that felt like the radiologist was part of your team. She enjoys all aspects of diagnostic imaging with a particular interest in cross sectional imaging.

Alana Rosenblatt

Registered Australian Specialist in Veterinary Radiology

Alana graduated from the University of Queensland in 2005. After graduation, she worked in Veterinary Schools at the University of Queensland and University of Adelaide for several years, during which time she completed small animal rotating and radiology internships, was awarded MANZCVS (Radiology), commenced an MPhil program, and enjoyed teaching veterinary students.

In 2012 Alana began a residency program in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging at Cornell University in New York, and become a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology in 2015. Along with her two now very well travelled black cats, Alana is excited to have returned home to Brisbane. Alana enjoys all aspects of diagnostic imaging in all species, but has particular interests in cross-sectional imaging and diagnostic ultrasonography (including guided sampling / treatments). She is pleased to be part of the team at Darkroom.

Zippy is a new member of the team, joining Darkroom as a puppy in 2017. He is settling well into his spot under the reporting desk in the office.

The black feline duo have been through a Cornell residency program and channel calm and tranquillity in the reporting room, fitting in comfortably in the dark.

Our clients (the referring vets) are our colleagues and we are working with them to help manage their case. We are happy to discuss cases by phone or email and often ring our referring clinicians about cases.
